The role

This role is responsible for everything related to charging supply and the success of our charging partners on Presto - from designing how we integrate stations to validating and enhancing data in order to maximize charging success and station reliability across all our products - including Presto’s apps, APIs and SDKs.

The outputs of your work power core capabilities such as charging recommendations, charging reliability, predictive availability, routing, and fleet charging optimization. You will also work closely with our charging partners on custom tools and products to help them improve fleet utilization and charger reliability across their networks.

You’ll work at the intersection of data systems, machine learning, marketplace dynamics, and user experience. This requires technical understanding of the charging ecosystem — from ingesting millions of messy raw data points via OCPI to optimizing our machine-learning recommendation engine, to building tools that make our charging partners successful.

It also requires good business instincts for tasks such as helping our charging partners grow utilization, balancing the marketplace, scaling new features like Autocharge and Plug & Charge, and building tools for our charging partners to optimize their financial return on stations.

You will work closely with our Partnerships, Driver, and Enterprise teams to support their needs and with our partners at charging networks.

Qualifications/skills

Product leadership

• Ability to deeply understand customer needs/problems and an instinct for good solutions
• Experience creating product strategy and roadmaps and executing against them
• Strong product judgment and ability to prioritize in complex environments

Data and systems thinking

• Comfortable working with large, messy, and unstructured datasets
• Ability to translate real-world operational problems into scalable product systems
  

Marketplace & infrastructure mindset

• Strong intuition for supply–demand dynamics and operational systems

Experience

• Experience as a Product Manager, General Manager, or Entrepreneur
• Experience working with data platforms, logistics systems, marketplaces, or infrastructure products
