The Role

As a QA Engineer  you will be an essential part of our Quality Assurance team, working to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be involved in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for both manual and automated testing, specifically for mobile applications (Android and iOS), APIs, and performance testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to support quality initiatives and deliver seamless product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain test cases for manual and automated testing using AIO Test or similar tools.
• Perform manual testing of mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Develop automated test scripts using Appium with Java.
• Execute cross-platform testing using BrowserStack.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, ensuring the functionality and security of backend services.
• Perform performance testing using JMeter to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies, providing QA input and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
• Continuously seek to enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a professional environment 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Foundational knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience with mobile testing on Android and iOS.
• Basic experience with Appium and Java for test automation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Understanding of performance testing concepts with JMeter.
• Experience working with BrowserStack for cross-platform testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
